But along the way, I took a detour. I helped scale startups. I built a couple of companies. I coached FTSE 100 CEOs and Founders. I got closer to the rooms where big decisions were being made. And for a while, that pace — the intensity, the ambition — felt like meaning. Until it didn’t.

Somewhere between building and burnout, I realised I was chasing external success at the cost of internal clarity. I had impact, but no integration. I had to drive, but lost a unifying direction. I was performing — but not truly leading.

I began to strip things back.

I began to strip things back.

To rebuild how I worked, lived, and showed up — not from the outside in, but the inside out. I returned to what I knew as a psychologist. I borrowed from systems thinking, behavioural science, Buddhist philosophy, and my own lived experience. And slowly, I created a new operating model for myself — and then for others.

That model became Compound Leadership.

It’s not a quick fix or a glossy productivity hack. It’s a tailored framework designed for leaders who want to scale sustainably — in business, in health, in relationships.
